As If Life Has a Beginning and an End is a unique example of a versatile theatrical creation of people with intellectual disabilities, given that they appear, in this inclusive show, the seventh such show produced by the Art and Inclusion program of the Per.Art organization, not just as performers, but also as screenwriters, choreographers and scenographers. The play is made in cooperation with the Serbian National Theatre, which is also a unique example of inclusive practice in the field of culture and contemporary performance arts, both in Serbia and the region. Ever since 1999, the group gathered around the Per.Art organization, has continuously and systematically explored and unified topics of importance for people with intellectual disabilities, and the processes of their inclusion in the field of
art, culture and leisure. Through these activities, they influence the exercise of the rights of people with intellectual disabilities to enjoy and create art, and their active involvement in the cultural life of their communities.
