ANNOUNCEMENT ON THE AWARDS AND THE CLOSING CEREMONY OF THE FESTIVAL 2013
KOTOR, July 10, 2013 – The 21st Kotor Festival of Theater for Children – the first segment of the 5th International Festival KotorArt – will be closed tonight with an official awards ceremony, led and decided by the Children Jury and the Town Jury. Over the period of ten days, there were sixteen stage performances within the main program, but we have also witnessed more than ninety programs overall. More than a thousand children, young people and various professionals from twenty-two countries have participated at the Festival. According to the organizers, this year’s Festival has witnessed the highest number of spectators since its beginnings, in addition to the record number of programs offered to the audience.
Based on the Decision made by the Children Jury and the Town Jury, the best performance of the 21st Kotor Festival of Theater for Children was Pinocchio, performed by Podgorica City Theater from Montenegro. This stage show was directed by Snezana Trisic and written by Jelena Mijovic, who based her play on the famous novel by Carlo Collodi.
The Children Jury handed out the Second Award to the Tiny Theater Puz from Belgrade for their show called Princess in a Castle of Ghosts,written and directed by Aleksandra Milavic Davies, while the Third Award of the Children Jury went to the newly-established Niksic puppet theater Scuckin for their first show Little Red Riding Hood, written by Igor Bojovic and directed by Goran Bulajic.
This year, both the Children Jury and the Town Jury handed out a Special Award each and they unanimously decided that this award should go to the Spanish show Clinc!, performed by Pep Bou Company from Barcelona.
For the very first time, Assitej Montenegro was handing out a Special Mention for artistic achievement and new stage sensibility, specifically to the Portuguese performance from Pinhal Novo for their street performance and installation Passage, which reminds us that “we are all visitors to this time, this place. We are just passing through. Our goal is to observe, to grow, to love…”
The members of the Children Jury were: Teodora Latkovic, Miljana Tujkovic, Anja Radonjic, Lena Uzelac, Laura Petrovic, Andjela Vujovic, Marko Subotic, Zeljko Krivokapic, Andrej Krivokapic, Rudjer Mardjonovic, Masa Radovanovic, Jovana Risteljic, Gracija Brguljan, Martin Mihalicek and Andrijana Karadzic.
The Town Jury was composed of Vjera Raskovic, President of the Jury and members Sladjana Mijanovic, Dubravka Jovanovic, Marina Dulovic and Tvrtko Crepulja.
The Closing Ceremony and announcement of the best shows will be held at the Square of Arms at 9 pm. The keys to the Old Town, which were guarded by Milica Kascelan, a sixth grader from Narodni Heroj Savo Ilic School in Kotor, will be reclaimed by the Vice President of the Municipality of Kotor, Mr Branko Nedovic. After the Awards Ceremony, a show will be held by the Festival’s guests from Yuzhnoukrainsk in Ukraine, who will perform their entertaining and artistic program Inspiration.
The Great Swap will be held traditionally at the Cinema Square at 6 pm, during which the children will be able to swap their books, stickers, toys and all those used and old knick-knacks they deem unnecessary, while the participants of the Festival workshops will have an opportunity to present their works (Modeling Workshop, Mask Workshop, Comics Workshop and Film Workshop). Production Z, a theater from Split, will perform two shows: Keko Eco and Around the World, while in the break between the two shows, the new comic book by Lazo Sredanovic called Dikan will be presented before the audience, as a part of the Reading Session under the Big Tree program.
KOTOR, 10 jul 2013. – Večeras se zatvara 21. Kotorski festival pozorišta za djecu, prvi segment 5. međunarodnog festivala KotorArt, svečanim uručenjem nagrada o kojima su odlučivli Dječji žiri i Žiri grada. Za deset dana izvedeno je 16 predstava u glavnom programu, a vidjeli smo preko 90 programa ukupno. Učestvovalo je više od hiljadu djece, mladih i profesionalaca iz 22 zemalje. Po ocjeni organizatora osim najvećeg broja programa, ovogodišnji Festival je imao i najveći broj gledalaca ikad.
Po Odluci Dječjeg žirija, ali i Žirija grada najbolja predstava 21. Kotorskog festivala pozorišta za djecu je predstava „Pinokio“ u izvođenju Gradskog pozorišta Podgorica iz Crne Gore koju je po tekstu Jelene Mijović, po poznatom romanu Karla Kolodija, režirala Snežana Trišić.
Dječji žiri Drugu nagradu dodjelio je Pozorištancu Puž iz Beograda za predstavu „Princeza u zamku duhova“, za koju tekst i režiju potpisuje Aleksandra Milavić Dejvis, dok Treća nagrada Dječjeg žirija ide u ruke novoosnovanog Nikšićkog lutkarskog pozorišta „Šćućkin“ za njihovu prvu predstavu „Crvenkapa“ koju je po tekstu Igora Bojovića režirao Goran Bulajić.
I Dječji žiri i Žiri grada ove godine dodjeljuju po jednu Specijalnu nagradu i oba žirija odlučila su da to bude za špansku predstavu „Klik“, koju je izvela Trupa Pep Bou iz Barselone.
Asitež (Assitej) Crne Gore prvi put ove godine dodjeljuje Specijalno priznanje za umjetničko dostignuće i novu scensku osjećajnost i to portugalskoj predstavi iz Pinjal Nova za ulični performans i instalaciju „Prolaz“ koja nas opominje „da smo svi posjetioci ovog vremena i prostora, da smo samo u prolazu i da je naš cilj da posmatramo, da rastemo, da volimo...“
U radu Dječjeg žirija učestvovali su: Teodora Latković, Miljana Tujković, Anja Radonjić, Lena Uzelac, Laura Petrović, Anđela Vujović, Marko Subotić, Željko Krivokapić, Andrej Krivokapić, Ruđer Marđonović, Maša Radovanović, Jovana Risteljić, Gracija Brguljan, Martin Mihaliček i Andrijana Karadžić.
Žiri grada Kotora radio je u sastavu: Vjera Rašković, predsjednica i članovi Slađana Mijanović, Dubravka Jovanović, Marina Dulović i Tvrtko Crepulja.
Svečano zatvaranje i proglašenje najboljih predstava biće na Trgu od oružja u 21 h. Ključeve grada, koje je za vrijeme Festivala čuvala Milica Kašćelan, iz Kotora, učenica 6. razreda OŠ „Narodni heroj Savo Ilić”, preuzeće nazad potpredsjednik Opštine Kotor gospodin Branko Nedović, a poslije dodjele nagrada nastupiće gosti iz Južnoukrajinska iz Ukrajine koji će izvesti umjetničko zabavni program „Nadahnuće“.
Tradicionalno na Pjaci od kina, u 18 h djeca će u okviru Velike trampe, razmjenjivati svoje knjige, sličice, igračke, sve one sitnice koje im više nijesu potrebne, a polaznici festivalskih radionica prezentovaće svoj rad (Radionica modelovanja, Radionica maski, Radionica stripa i Filmska radionica). Pozorište iz Splita Produkcija Z, izvešće dvije predstave „Keko Eko“ i „Put oko svijeta“, a u pauzi između dvije predstave u uokviru završne večeri Čitaonice pod velikim drvetom, publici će se predstaviti strip Laza Sredanovića „Dikan“.
